Do you love Swedish meatballs? Do you love stroganoff? If the answer is yes to both of these questions, then you’re in luck. Just like PB&J or biscuits and gravy, Ikea meatballs are a harmonious addition to any stroganoff dish. Don’t believe me? Try it out for yourself. Your mind will be blown.
- 1/2 bag of Ikea Swedish meatballs
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup of mushrooms
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef stock
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Pasta of your choice
Step 1: Bake the meatballs as instructed on the packaging.
Step 2: Prep your veggies.
Step 3: Coat your pan in olive oil and saute the mushrooms, garlic and onions.
Step 4: Make the sauce. Add in the beef broth, wine, and paprika and bring to a boil. Next, turn down the heat and add in the sour cream. Stir until everything is uniformly mixed.
Step 5: Add in the meatballs and let everything simmer together for 5-10min.
Step 6: Serve over a bed of noodles or rice and enjoy!
