35¢ Wings @ The Draft

Don’t feel like waiting until Tuesday for a good food deal in Allston? Then stop by The Draft on Sunday’s and Monday’s for 35¢ wings! You may have thought it couldn’t get any better than $6.99 Burger + Beer night but you would be so wrong.

For the past few Sundays, Selma and I have been venturing into Allston for The Drafts 35¢ wings special. They used to be 25¢ back in the day (just like their $5.99 Burger + Beer night) but the extra 10¢ a wing is well worth it.

When we go, I usually start off with my usual ice cold Miller High Life for $2.50. It’s not only cheap and refreshing, but it’s also The Champagne of Beers.

Just like Burger + Beer night, if you come in on a Sunday or Monday night, they just assume you’re ordering wings. You can order as many as your little heart desires and they even have a plethora of flavors to choose from: Regular, Honey or Extra Hot Buffalo; Regular, Honey or Hot BBQ; Teriyaki, Cooperstown, Jamaican Jerk, Smokey Chipolte, Honey Mustard or Garlic Parmesan.

Our favorites are the honey BBQ, cooperstown (this awesome honey mustard BBQ sauce), smokey chipotle. and the regular buffalo (obviuosly). We have tried their teriyaki, honey mustard, and Jamaican jerk but those weren’t really anything special.

The wings come out in no time and are slathered in saucy goodness. Selma and I usually split two dozen so that comes out to a grand total of $8.40 for 24 wings. Not too bad for dinner for two.

So if you’re ever wandering the streets of Allston on a Sunday or Monday night, you should definitely stop by The Draft for a High Life and a few dozen wings. It will only set you back ~$10 and you will be so happy you did.

And with that, thanks for reading!
