My 2014 Race Schedule!

posted in: Life Updates | 0

I know what y’all are thinking…”this post isn’t about food…how dare he!” However, I’ve decided to add a section to my blog that details my other hobbies and interests like bikes and racing. Of course, food will most likely make its way into these posts seeing as how I am constantly in a state of hunger from all the terrible physical training that I’ve decided to put myself through. 2013-04-14 09.22.17

And after much deliberation, I present to you all my tentative 2014 Race schedule! Unlike when I was in school, I now have a bit more free time on my hands to train and compete. This year, I will be (Tri)ing out the world of triathlons. This should be interesting seeing as how I can only swim if I absolutely have to and I really dislike running. Nevertheless, good times will be had.

For the Philly TriRock Triathlon, I’ve been fortunate enough to have been invited to race with Team Johnson & Johnson. This race supports The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) as they continue to provide world-class care for children all over the country. The goal of the team is to raise $200K to support CHOP so any donation is greatly appreciated.

For Bike MS, I will be riding with Team R&B to support The National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The goal of the team is to raise $75,000 to support advancements in MS research. If you are interested in riding, let me know and I can forward along the details. There are some discounts and even a FREE jersey for those of you who join.

Be on the lookout for more info about these races as well as my fundraising pages in the coming weeks!

Thanks for reading!
