Cheese Steak Patty Melt

Instead of doing our usual Philly cheese steak night, we decided to make some shaved steak patty melts because we had a whole loaf of fresh artisan bread from When Pigs Fly Bakery sitting around not getting eaten.

I started off with a whole yellow onion, a pack of baby portobello mushrooms, and a green bell pepper.

Cut and season as desired.

1 lb of shaved steak cooked all the way through.

Toast up some When Pigs Fly Bakery Baby Spinach, Onion & Garlic Ciabatta bread. They make some of the most tasty and unique breads I’ve ever had.

Finish off with a slice on muenster cheese and spicy mustard. Serve with a side of dill pickles if that is what your heart desires.
