We were starving one night and wanted to grab a quick and easy dinner so we hit up Bertucci’s because we haven’t been there in forever. Bertucci’s is essentially the northeast’s version of an Olive Garden. They are known for their brick oven pizza’s but their other dishes are pretty decent for a large chain restaurant. The best part is their free rolls and olive oil at the beginning of the meal. It’s hard not to fill up on these things. And they even give the raw dough to children to play with if you request it (not that I know or anything…).
We usually get a variety of their pasta dishes but this time we decided to go for their pizza. It’s actually surprising that we’ve never ordered their pizza before after all of our years of dining here. Anyways, we got the Spicy Salami Pizza which consisted of genoa salami, provolone cheese, spicy cherry peppers, house made tomato sauce, mozzarella and romano cheese. The pizza is huge and the crust is thin just like we like it. This was more than enough food for the both of us.
Delicious cheesy goodness.
And a little boat that selma made!
Overall we really enjoyed their pizza and we will of course be back for their irresistible hot rolls.
