Loco Moco is back and now healthier than ever! Just kidding…we just used turkey instead of beef. Nonetheless, the best part about Loco Moco is that you can essentially add anything and everything you want. In the future, I am going to try using Mahi Mahi or some fried cod to keep things interesting.
I started off with 1lb of ground turkey and combined it with salt, pepper, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and Tony Chachere’s seasoning (you can also use any all purpose seasoning).
I also decided to add some balsamic vinaigrette dressing in addition to the usual olive oil, pepper, and salt to the asparagus. Bake @ 350 for 15 min.
Top off with some parmesan cheese when they’re done baking.
Sear up some yummy pineapple slices if that is what your heart desires
Gingerly lay over a bed of white rice and top with gravy and a sunny side up egg. Let the food coma begin.
